The AX-FRM3-TX comprises a group of three interlocked relays for use as a fan speed switch combined with an encapsulated 230Vac to 24Vac transformer. The design of the unit allows it to change fan speeds on fan motors with tapped windings. The “break before make” design of the relay contact configuration and common switching point ensure that only one set of contacts is active at any one time preventing short circuits. The relays are powered by the transformer and two sets of 24vac outputs are available for valves and/or to power the thermostat or a controller. |
